Action Week Transport Projects 2014

The children from Moycarkey National School were very busy preparing projects for our Action Week. Mrs Carroll’s and Miss Hackett’s rooms prepared the pictures for our school pictograph. Ms Hayes’ class produced beautiful transport themed pictures as gaeilge which were used to decorate the halla during Action Week. Ms McCullagh’s  class went on an “Around the World” Trip and compiled a project on modes of transport from around the world. The Green-Schools Travel Competition 2015 is now open and we are inviting schools to take part in The BIG TRAVEL CHALLENGE by promoting a sustainable mode of transport of your choice in the month of February.   THE BIG TRAVEL CHALLENGE. February 9th to March 3rd 2015   As we work towards our fourth Green Flag, the school has decided to participate in “The Big Travel Challenge” From the 9th of February to March 3rd (15 school days), we appeal to the school community to partake in carpooling as often as possible over the fifteen day period.
