County Semi Finals Day

Tuesday, the 23rd of May was a special day in Moycarkey National School. Both the Under 11 Girls and Under 11 Boys were involved in County Semi finals. The girls were first out. After a rapturous tunnel of applause from the other pupils, they made their way to the Ragg to play Dunkerrin. Throw in was at 11.00. It was a tight match the whole way through. GAA Update

It has been a busy year with GAA with the Cumann na mBunscoil leagues. Our school has been well represented in all categories this year. Under 11 Girls:  The Under 11 girls were victorious in their opening blitz against Barnane and Knockavilla which was played in Littleton last Thursday. Many thanks to Andy Ryan who organised the blitz. They are now through to a County Semi Final next Tuesday, the 28th of May against Dunkerrin in the Ragg at 11.
