Mid-Tipperary Trials 2013
Trials have been taking place over the past month for the mid Tipperary teams for hurling, girls and boys football and camogie. Four children were chosen to represent the school at these trials. These were as follows; Footbal (boys) : Rhys Shelly Hurling: John Kirwan Football (girls): Amy Cummins Camogie: Zoe O’ Meara. We wish them every success.

Seachtain na Gaeilge was celebrated in the school fromthe 11th to the 15th of March. A large ceili took place in the school yard led by Michael Cooney, our Irish dancing teacher. A trath na gceist took place also, which included children from 2nd to 6th. A ceolchoirm was held in the school hall where each class performed irish songs, poems and played the tin-whistle. A book sale was held in the school hall just before the Easter holidays. A huge number of books were donated by the parents, children and the school for the sale. The sale was a great success raising over five hundred and sixty euro for the school. This money will be used to promote and improve our literacy levels throughout the school.
